Martin sent these photos of the M192-5, made by Magna in 1948. Martin operates a business repairing and restoring vintage music and audio equipment. More info and project descriptions can be seen at www.Wizard-Labs.com. The M192-5 is covered in a Brown reptile like material. The tone control doubles as the on-off switch. There is a master volume and a mic volume. The M192-5 has 3 inputs. Guitar 1 and 2 inputs and a microphone input. The amp uses a 6SN7 for preamp, a 6N7 phase inverter, a pair of 6V6 power tubes and 5Y3 rectifier tube. The power supply transformer is #5001 1 CS 5779. The output transformer is Triad 1659. It has a 12-inch speaker. Martin says "The tone is smooth, deep and bright. Very little breakup unless driven really hard. Much wider frequency range than most amps from this era."
